Eucalyptus radiata belongs to the Myrtaceae family. It is a tree about 30 m tall, with large branches and narrow lanceolate leaves, bright green. Its flowers are small and white, and grow quite grouped among them, distributed along the branches. For long periods of time, the seeds can be seen suspended in the tree. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves.
